If it serves a needed purpose for even a few consoles, then it's up to the buyer to decide if it's worth it.

The posts defending it's purchase are much better than the ones against from what I read, so straight away someone who is 'on the fence' about it will lean more to it than away if all they really see is people who support it being called 'retard' etc.

Im sure thats very likely and you have all the info and knowledge to back it up. However i would still give my money to cobra because atleast they did something and created a solution and even if there is a free software solution later on i wouldn't regret it because cobra made the effort and thought of new ways for 3/4k series to run homebrew, so think of that 80% as my donation to cobra instead of my payment.

tl;dr: i welcome our new cobra overlords
