Couldn't get any other version working properly, either wouldn't swipe correctly to reveal the menu or just never started downloading properly. The one in the link however seems to work particularly well for me. And blistering fast downloads are a big bonus.

After jailbreaking my iphone 5 last night I'm having very little success installing apps. Can anybody point me in the right direction. I've installed appsync and added a few repos under the manage tab xsellize, h7v.org, repo.hackyouriphone.org, iphonecake.com and many more. Certain apps will work i.e shyte i am not really interested in. can't get tapatalk to work, it installs fine but when i launch it opens only for a split second. Any good guides floating around to get me started. Many thanks in advance.

Add IPASTORE from xsellize repo and install Tapatalk 2 for iPhone, sounds like a bad crack or incompatible firmware.

You need a newer version of Tapatalk!
The version on appcake is an old one.

Install Safari Download Manager and IFile from the Xsellize repo and then you can download Tapatalk 2 from the link above and use iFile to move the iPa to the appcake download folder (var/mobile/application/appcake/documents/downloads) or for older versions of appcake (var/mobile/documents/downloads)and then go to downloaded in appcake to install.

with the strength of the newer phones, mem, cpu etc, you will most likely be able to upgrade to new android OSs for a few years or more without having to buy a new device. that is the big plus to me. a con is the OSs usually take a minute to come out after they have been announced but, the android dev community is usually strong and soon after the code is leaked there is an unofficial version of that OS, which is just as strong as OFW. Rooting is usually easy and painless as well.

Rooting you are talking about tether without the network knowing, titanium backup, super user and your recovery become your closest friends. the sad part is i believe android will not work with exchange servers pretty soon. i've been using android since the G1 and it hasbeen getting better better. when jelly bean comes to my phone the data encryption algorithm alone will be worth it.

i am sold on the samsung products. i worked on one for a friend, the USB was borked sent it to them a few days ago and it is already on its way back. they accepted it even after it was shottedly taken back to stock.

How do you install Ipastore if you already have appsync for iOS 6 installed? Obviously there is an install error due to appsync conflict. Is the appsync bundled with Ipastore iOS 6 compatible?

Yeh I checked the official forum and it has an Appsync 5 dependency but was working on ios6 prior to Appsync 6.
