Question Burning a ps3 game to disc and playing on rogero cfw 4.30 v2.05

I have Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

I want to burn it to a dvd and play it on my rogero cfw 4.30 v2.05

i burnt it in nero iso:1999 format, with disc labeled as BLES01355 and renamed the ps3updat.pup to ps3updat.xxx

it does not boot in xmb or multiman.

what am i doing wrong?

Thank you.

Take it easy, don't be so defensive.

Explain further your problem and we will see what we can do to solve your problem.

Regards.

========================

You will need an external HDD or something, instead of burning the ISO.
You expent more money burning those ISO's while you can an external HDD to avoid headaches.
Last restort even if you don't like it = FTP. Via ethernet cable.

What do you want? You asked, What am i doing wrong?

You are trying to burn a game to a dvd and play it....
I dont understand what more you want....
You can not burn ps3 games to dvd's and play them....plain and simple
Like i said, This isnt the xbox360 scene or the ps2 scene
I gave you the answer you needed....did you try searching the forum for any info regarding the burning of ps3 games? did you find anything???.....
NO...CAUSE YOU CANT
Dont get pissy with me cause i didnt give you the answer you wanted.......fricken noob

rent, or borrow the game and back it up to internal drive if you cant figure out how to copy your downloaded version to the internal.
LOL, you know multiman has ps3 to ps3 networking capabilities. Find someone besides me with the game that will share with ya....

Ok, 1st let´s all calm down.
Now I won´t say that it can´t be done because it can, at least on 3.55, but compatibilty is piss poor. the disc won´t show up in the XMB but multiman was able to boot some games from a burnt disc.
there was also this.

http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=28425

not sure if it works on the newer custom firmwares but it would have to be resigned 1st. if you look through the thread you´ll see there´s some problems with that method but there´s also some games that work. tested some myself
