Just figure out that PS3Splitter can be used to transfer large files for Rogero backup manager. Of course you need Gia manager to merge the tool inside PS3 HD. Advantage here is we can play most of the games in Rogero with the original eBoot file. Here are the steps.

1. Download PS3Splitter
2. Split large files in your PC
3. Copy the files to a FAT32 drive
4. Open Gia Manager
5. Copy the game folder to PS3 HDD
6. Open game from HDD
7. Quit Gia manager

You are done. The split files are now merged back to its original form!

When you separate that resident evil umbrella chronicles in 5 parts and put it on an external USB and put it in the ps3 when I try to install the game I just installed one of the other five parts.Without any combination of these 5 parts please hellp.By the way i got Rogero 4-31 with MultiMan and file of the game is to PKG

Not 100% on what you are saying but:

If you split a PKG file into parts you get 1.PKG.66600/1.PKG.66601/1.PKG.66602/1.PKG.66603/1.PKG.66604..

You need to put the 5 parts on the USB stick, open mMOS, and copy JUST THE FIRST pkg file "1.PKG.66600" to the internal drive (to the root or one of the PKG or packages folders).

This will make mM re-join the split file into one whole 1.PKG file again.

Double click the PKG when its done and it will install properly as one big file.

I am using Rogero 4.30 v2.05 and mM 04.19.05.

I think the mistake you are making is trying to instal 5 pkgs of the 1 split file.

Thanks man I was just wondering what that folder was the mean on the ps3 (Root) ps3.I when you first put it in the root PKG fajel on ps3 I have to install again the first 1.PKG.66600 Sorry about my bad English

If I'm not mistaken, this allows you to install games ( with individual file size > 4gb, like GT5 and Red Dead ) onto your internal harddrive ?

Is there any way to play those games directly off the external harddrive ? Limited space on my 40gb fatty..

Sorry if it's a noob query, but I've had trouble finding a straight answer.
