Hi mate nice tutoril just doing my reserch as i now have my e3 flasher i am going to be doing method one as dont have a service usb etc, im confused at one bit though u downgradde to rogero etc how would i downgraded stright to official 3.55 where would i change the files etc in respect to ur guide hope u can help many thanks

You cannot downgrade straight to 3.55 OFW as you will brick your console due to the level 1 hash check. You will panic the syscon so the only way to downgrade to 3.55 OFW is to first downgrade to 3.55 CFW w/ patched level 1 then QA flag then go to 3.55 OFW.

Like ichris said, you can't go straight to OFW 3.55. Especially without a FSM dongle.

If you want to do Method 1, then you can install 4.25 to 3.55 downgrader PUP.
Then continue with the guide from Chapter 2, Part 2 "Qa Flag".

can you explain to me why my e3 flasher can read but not write? this is the first time that happen to me after my ps3 was bricked. so now i can just dump bkpps3.bin without any error but i can't write it or re-flash it?

Reseat the clip, or solder the e3 linker.
Look here for e3 flasher error codes and solutions.

You posted the error code the e3 flasher gave you:

E3 Flasher blinking blue light: blue,blank,blank.blank,blue,blue,blue,blue.

That code is 10001111.
