So I can bridge the resistor on my PCB and open it for Samsung

Providing I put 3.3 to VIO

Ah, with you now!

/BYTE input is logic input that needs to be 1, so the pull-up is OK, leave it there that is correct. As it is n/c for Samsung, again leave it be.

Will still need 3V3 on Vio for BOTH Samsung / Spansion.

yep (with regards to your PCB). All need Vio to 3v3.

@jhax78 , what is the manufacturers part number of the connector you are trying to get hold of? Progress? Well, it's 'done' and proven to work. Just need to update schematic / PCB to reflect minor changes mentioned previously.

e3 board connector to clip 50 pin

this is the series that are used on e3 the 50 pin ones
