but it doesnt. ive wait 30 minutes or more. as soon as i eject the disk the black screen goes away and the app/game continues as normal.

I opened up the PS3, disconnected the cable connecting the drive to the motherboard and found that the ribbon cable was a bent when I lifted the drive from the PS3, was it supposed to be like that?

if you mean bend where it goes into the connector on the mainboard then yes, mine is bend there too...

blu ray is disconnected or weak connection its happened to me before you have to make sure its connected to the board tight
