also, it is resigned with 3.55 privs so yes, like any MFW, this will have certain risks and is easily detected by any user (any app that is installed, or contained within, or run from userspace, like your games) application. The only 100% safe way to have no bans, is to have no communication /ever/ to outside world, e.g. privacy patch or dropped by firewall/router. about the confusion about where firmwares reside: for CoreOS etc. that is inside flash. The harddrive contains the dev_flash files, e.g. XMB and installed content.
