I would like to create this coldboot, most exactly possible to the originall

The "animation" is composed by around 8 images and applyed transformations, fadein/fadeouts, and not much more

The sound is around 14 seconds, i saw there is a limit of 8 seconds in this video, right ? :/

Well... this guy trimmed the sound to 8 senconds, i can do this too, but the rest of the images can be done ?

And what programs i need ? (others than photoshop or gimp that i know well)
I have no idea where to begin, any hint is usefull

I use to return to this thread when talking with people about themes in ps3 because is a good example of several "simple smart tricks" they used in PS1 coldboot and are supported in PS3 themes

I never explained in detail how i think is made the PS1 coldboot, but i will try for the record and documenting purposes:

-Step 1 (from 00:00 to 00:07)
White background appears at 00:00 with a "fade-in"... and dissapears at 00:07 with a "fade-out"

-Step 2 (from 00:01 to 00:07)
1 orange square appears
2 orange triangles appears over the square (actually are same square image divided in a half), and are "scaled" using a displaced center for each own

-Step 3 (from 00:02 to 00:07)
Blue texts appears with a "fade in" and dissapears with a "fade-out"

-Step 4 (from 00:07 to 00:16)
Black bakground appears
Playstation logo appears with a "fade-in"

-Step 5 (from 00:07 to 00:16)
License texts appears with a fast "fade-in"
Playstation text appears with a slow "fade-in"





All images are overlapped and the only ones without transparency are the backgrounds. Some images appears or dissapears in goups
the animation can be divided in 2 groups that changes at 00:07... the second group only is visible after 00:07 but maybe is loaded from the start and hidden behind the white background

Feel free to add your suggestions or correct some mistake to this sequence... im sure all this is supported in ps3 themes and some day will be possible to clone this animation, actually... the same can be done with psp coldboot (and i suspect with PS2 coldboot too, but ps2 uses 3D objects)
