Rogero 4.30 V 2.05 Games= Black screen

I've been out the loop for a while had a slim Ps3 with a V1 dongle on 3.41, decided to upgrade to Rogero 4.30 v2.05. I had the original backup manager installed(and open manager etc..) Ive note used the dongle in the process, all my games worked fine with 3.41/v1 dongle.(god of war 3, Uncharted2, RE5)

I updated 3.41>>3.55OFW>>Rogero 4.30 V2.05

It all went well(via XMB), installed multiman 4.18 base then 4.19 update.

Model: CECH-2503b
Firmware: 4.30 v 2.05
Not a hardware issue as far as I can tell(boots fine)
Software issue?
Running mulitman 4.19
Never downgraded your console with hardware flashers

Tried searching the forums and the following was the general advice:

1- Make sure your backups are clean (no 3.55/3.41 fixes are applied).
2- Make sure in XMB->Game Data Utility remove any update / installation data, and let the game install them again.
3- Use the latest multiMAN v04.08.01(im using 4.19)
4- Check the specific game options and try activating BD-Mirror option
5- Try BD-ROM Emulator (Standard) on multiMAN options, I've tired both hermes(rebooted system) and standard.

I've installed bdemu2

I've applied updates, delete save game data, used the multiman options (game disc, internal, BD mirror all on off) fixed permissions etc...

Every game will load in mulitman go back to xmb then I see the disc icon, press the game and it just goes black. If I press the PS button and go quite game the PS3 reboots.

The only thing I can think of is my games are in the LAU12345 folder

/dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ as opposed to /dev_hdd0/GAMES

Can anyone advise??

/dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ
dafug is that directory? never heard of it. Either way, try them from External. Might be cause your trying to run them from internal.

also try putting the GAMEZ or GAMES folder back one. So dev_hdd0/game/.......

hold up before I finish this thought, that directory you gave is the game data folder man. O.o why do you have your backups in there?

@Mr.Dutch

doesnt his backup directory seem a bit out of place? im fairly certain that the internal backup location is " dev_hdd0/GAMES or dev_hdd0/GAMEZ "

Sorry @ Mr.Dutch I can assure you that you don't

When I went to 4.30 every game worked for me as it did on 3.55 ( even the modified n0drm,duplex,pr0pjoe etc,etc eboots) I just had to delete the game data created whilst on 3.55 from the xmb

Have a read of this its quite interesting, http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=Zrzr0xd0

@Simonbuck

same here ^_^ cept i didnt have to delete any game data though. only things that didnt work when i upgraded was some of my PSN games.

Seems that Rogero cfw is only fw I hear of people having issues, whenever someone is having a CFW issue its always rogero O.o

Never hear anything about rebug, Im on rebug and update and downgrade with there stuff, hassle free. Everything runs great and smooth.

tried using original eboots no joy.....

when the "old" ones show 3.55 as app-version(wrong scetool bug/signing?!) u get problems loading them on 4.xxx = resign.. but if the eboot is signed with 3.40 etc key-rev they work as usual..
