And i will make a new dump than i can check if the clip is seated ..

and NO the ps3 dont shut off when im holding the powerbutton , should i shut down from behind the ps3

i guess you have no other option...
i only know soldering tristate will keep the ps3 on, don't know how to shut it down.

what to do now?

Install the e3 flasher .. and what is with the wire ? should i remove it ?

flowrebuilder:- doesnt check the dump

three musketeers:- didnt know this checks but again dont trust this to give 100%

verify it yourself go to my guide and do the checks there then goto the linked ps3devwiki page at the end of the verify steps in my guide and check the areas there.
then goto the dump check thread. the link is again at the end of the verify step in my guide and ask for a second opinion there.

Omg, how are you gonna flash your ps3, without the wire keeping it on.

It shouldn't take 8 pages of posts to fix this brick. I have fixed 2 bricks and downgraded 10 ps3s, since this thread started.

Leave the wire.
Install the flasher correctly.
Patch your valid dump.
Flash the dump.
Remove the wire.
Install firmware.

all you have done is used tools that do not check enough of the dump.
so no you are not 100% sure you have a good dump

and the power button:-
dont pull the power lead but press the power button for ages and it will turn off.

tristate (sbe) is grounded so the ps3 is in a halted state. normal protocols do not work here like the 5sec soft off with the power button

so hold it for 1-2 min

dont remove the wire
that is what is keeping the ps3 turned on.
you need the ps3 on to power the E3 and the NOR

DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING TO THE PS3 UNTILL YOU GET THE DUMP VERIFIED
