I first remove the IHS on the CPU-GPU replace thermal paste and then I do like the picture and the ps3 does not overheat.

![]() and stdule seems to add a rubber ring to add some extra pressure there, abit like the "washer"trick? but guessing this could work better, also some extra small "coolpads" on there? always nice to see diff tricks to achive the same... edit @3absiso ..this is way to pro and im a poor basterd..so i'll stick with the hot air gun for now..nxt time heating some more and no razor..but the silicon was for real like "patex" glued to the motherboard, u might not screwup as i did but be carefull yes...bam 250bucks gone..
