I suggest you go on rebug 4.30 or rogero(i have rebug and all are good with no problems)..for my opinion dont touch these 4.31 ;-) before do anything clear the spoof and I dont know what most says I trust upgrade only from recovery menu and no from xmb.just put 4.18 mm and his upgrades whatever you decide..good luck

successfully updated to Rogero 4.30 v 2.05...only thing is for a Noob like me i cant see any change...:D are there some new things i can use from now on??? Can i play ps2 games like GTA:SA... thnx for all the help guys... |

To play PS2 games you need ReactPSN to activate the edats/rif/raps, I couldnt get GTA's to work for me as I didnt have my CFW machine online ever and so I think the ACT.DAT isnt valid unless you go online (PSN) once or so)....

I think i will avoid PSN till the time i feel it is safe from banning...:P One more thing before i shut my unending wishlist :D how to fix my 3.55 games(which will not work on Rogero 4.30 v2.05)...update them from MM to get back to original EBOOT and then apply the fix for cfw 4.30??? Or is there any other way around? |

Revert your eboot to the untouched one (if you backed them up) Download an update from here: http://yifan.lu/psn/, install it through IPF (instal package files) and load back up as normal. Update your game through mM, apply the update and load back up as normal. I have tried all 3 ways to fix all my games, and it took about an hour to do the lot on a 1tb drive. Once you update your game, you dont need to fix anything for 4.30  afaik there are VERY few games that once you update them: wont work. If this happens, delete the game data for that game from the XMB game data column, and download a lower update. (If 1.05 update = 4.31, download 1.03 or 1.04 which would be for 3.70 or 4.30).. just an example.

I tried couple of games AC III, ghost recon thru mM, by downloading update and applied and they worked like charm...
I am happy with rogero, coz Assassin' Creed III stopped working after 1.03 update and ghost recon never worked on rebug 3.55.2 :D @DEFAULTDNB ...thnx a lot bro once again!!! |

Only games that require 431 FW currently that I know of are :
Sly cooper thieves in time DMC Aliens Colonial Marines and probably MG Rising this weekend MM fixes that problem anyways by fixing the param to 4.30 when you launch game for first time so its not biggie, like it was back in 3.55 days. ohh and dont forget that the trophy ICON has been moved to the PSN section in the xmb. ( I wouldnt advise synching trophies anyways, as many users are reporting getting banned by just synching trophies )

I will update all my games using mM tonight.... DMC i have anyways completed in 3.55.2, so i aint worried at all fixing it  ...could not fix games like MW3, london 2012,etc in rebug 3.55.2 [what to do when mM says there is no update available for them?]yeah i noticed trophies are now in PSN( i will not try to sync even with mM stealth

There is no stealthing or hidden access to be safe on PSN anymore. If anyone tells you diffrent there lying to just get you on the ban list. This is what there scanning for: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php...412#post540412 Currently there is no workaround for this yet. Even MM stealth dont work as its on the list of things there program checks for in order to hand out a ban. If MM says there is no update even though you know there is one, you can always double check here: http://yifan.lu/psn/ Just put in the game ID you wanna check for updates and away you go ^_^
