My method did work. His PS3 is at the connect controller screen. The problem with the usb ports is the ribbon cable. On the CECHK models, the bt/wifi board is connected to the USB ports. I am sure that ribbon has been damaged due to not be careful.

You are right player .. the ribbon caple from the wifi board is damgd .. and im searching how to get it work without ribbon cable maxbe wih soldering ? Or like mr dutch said with 5v ...

i think you are right, i don't see those usb ports on the mainboard (DIA-002)

EDIT: @xAfgkiller96x , only if the usb ports where on the mainboard you would have a chance...

they are solder in the board and than connected with ribbon cable to mainboard , i will upload some pictures ,,

Just get a replacement ribbon. You don't want to mess it up worse.

You can get a ribbon cheap on ebay. Here is one for $4 after shipping.

I know that is in the U.S., but I am sure you can find one cheap.

i told him to check his dumps
the patched one that he chacked was a fail.

i told him to check his origional dump
it was slightly out in the statistics so i told him to patch with rogero auto patcher and re-check it

but he did this.

bytereversed it (i didnt tell him to do this)
patched with rogero auto patcher (this bit was right)
flash it back to console ( this should have been the checking of the dump step)

so he ignored advice .

not a guides fault lol

maybe not so bad to put a disclaimer on top of the guide, it's a bit of cloudy area and with 355/430 way/patchers its kinda hard to explain.lol....1 on the fly(355), the 430 needs bytereverse-patch-bytereverse for E3 flashers(on the original bkpps3.bin)

Note: Use the correct patches for each method, especially the E3 flasher! Pls read on.. use the 3.55 ready-made E3 patches(url= linked) on the "original" E3 dumps only (patch the original bkpps3.bin) Use the "bytereversed" E3 dump (bkpps3.swap.bin) ONLY for checking/verifying the backup ALWAYS flash back the original dump or patched original dump, never "patch" a "bytereversed = bkpps3.swap.bin" result = blackscreen!! ( the old 3.55 downgrade!) For easy patching of all dumps use the auto-patchers ( except for E3 flasher + the 4.30 Three Musketeer patches) The 4.30 "three Musketeers patches" in combination with the E3 flasher, requires u to patch the "bkpps3.swap.bin" and reverse it again after patching it, reason being that the "three 4.30 patches" are read-made for hardware flashers like Progskeet,Teensy and not the E3 flasher! if nobody creates those bytereversed 4.30 patches for E3 use like they have done for 3.55 ^^ u'll need to use Flowrebuilder: Bytereverse the NOR dump load the 4.30 Patchlist.txt select "Patch a bytereversed NOR dump or ....." finally Bytereverse this patched dump again(last option) to make it E3 flasher ready again!!! Do not complain later on with wrong patches used...read the guide properly and succeed

I never bytereverse-patch-bytereverse.

PS3 NOR Patcher v1 Three Musketeers will do it for you.
Rogero's PS3 Nor Dump Patcher v0.01 patches the original bkpps3.bin with no need to byte reverse first.

The only time you need to byte reverse your dump, is while validating.
I use FlowRebuilder v.4.2.2.0.exe and choose option "Byte reverse and EXTRACT a NOR dump file."
Then it makes bkpps3.swap.bin and a folder bkpps3.swap.ext.

My guide says to take the bkpps3.bin and patch it with either of the patchers, (depends on which method you choose).

If someone takes the bkpps3.swap.bin, then they are not following the guide correctly. The only time I touch the bkpps3.swap.bin is to drag n drop it in HxD.

I think users should stop rushing, and follow the directions they are giving. Then they would not have troubles. LOL.
