Check the list in the first post, if you have one of those maps on your cfw ps3 they ban you.

No, I will surely delete them and download them legally. well. I guess Dev_Bd is not in the list, can we assume that this way is safe?

No it is not. When I first bought BO2. I played from original disc, and treyarch blocked me.

I am sure it is the same now for SONY.

Nothing is safe more in this scenerario grab a packet sniffer and start to check those strings and you will notice with some patience what you are sending without knowing.

mM mask utility will not work either or any other tool.
Besides some users still abusing from ps_unban and those damn console ID's.

It's way too easy for them to make a simple a script, log certain data and then make some automatic script to be executed when those patterns show.
Boom! banned.

Sony got their way with treyarch (is their ***** at this stances) that's the main reason i did not purchase neither pirate this game so far.

did they ban you at that time? they also blocked some legit user, with that software. if they did ban you, the remain CFW files are App_Home and Install Package Manager that they can spot us.I assume, this is not safe to play BO 2 or any game with a CFW Scanner Software in any ways on CFW, at least for now.

I don't know why sony hasn't banned me yet, I've actually started and played homebrew while signed in (accidentally). They obviously know I'm on CFW.

yeah, me too sometime do that accidentally. I used to play online with my OFW, and mostly now I play it with my CFW.

I was banned using Stealth mM with the original disk...if that satisfies anybody's curiosities.

I agree with @Adamsville 's statement. They have no right. I paid for my PS3, BO2, and my internet service. Nothing was 'stolen' or 'pirated'. I feel like I did nothing wrong except be a victim of circumstance. Oh well, f'k 'em. I'll never buy a brand new Treyarc(h) game or brand new $ony product ever again. From now on I'll only purchase them used so as not to benefit them. If they make it to where we can't play used games then I'll probably stop buying their products altogether.

I don't use my PS3 anymore and probably won't until $ony stops supporting it. It's been gathering dust since mid-December. I still hope somebody finds a way to bypass this. It would serve them right. If nothing else, I'm glad they've been outed.
