So just for arguments sake, if this "method" that they had could also be used to hack 3k and 4k models and it was built into the ODE, do you think cobra would release it or DRM the crap out of it like their dongle? You know the answer and this is why this scene is crap, and this is why we have "****ed up attitudes".

Im not only talking about small time 5 minute e fame seekers. Im talking about people with good dev skills that get paid into silence and let their greed get in the way of whats best for the scene. As for the questioning of my purchase, state any alternative commercial product in the world that can do everything a CFW ps3 can do including PS1, PS2 and PS3 playback and I'll admit you are right. Until then for obvious reasons your argument is invalid.

On a side note, this is a hacking scene site and the enemy of hacking is reDRM (at least these days). Thats why alot of people here frown upon reDRM dongles and people who buy them because they are supporting the enemy in a sense.


@oPolo You know who we need in this scene? Solid Snake to infiltrate and get the private keys from Sony and Otacon to do the hacking.
