just joined same as many others need some help
i am looking to attempt to jailbreak a ps3 don`t have it yet so not got model numbers but will be 1 that can be flashed if the comp is on 3.55 is it true it wont need flashed just the cfw added been looking on here for a while now picking bits up seams modchipcentrals e3-card-reader usb and pjrc teensy++2.0 are the best to use or as gd as any other but wheres the best place to get the software would be messing about trying to mod mw3 or gta online more games if i manage to get the hang of it trying to get some hints or tips watched some tutorials on here was wondering whats the best 1`s to watch any help would be lots of help

if the console is on 3.55ofw or lower it can be softmodded. If its on 3.56+ (depending on model #, it has to be a original Phat or one of the 2000series ) you have two options:
1. Buy a flasher yourself , around 100$, and attempt the flash yourself. There are Idiot proof guides out there ( not calling you a idiot ). or 2. Browse the forum here for someone in your area offering downgrade service. There is a few members in the UK and a few in the US that offers this service, they genrally charge about 50$ to do it.

was looking at the teensy++2.0 flasher from pjrc site cant post links yet so cant post the link would this be 1 i could use to flash the comp is there a flasher you have used ur self u would recommend what section would be best looking for some 1 Modifications and Repair

I do not personally own a flasher, my phat when purchased was on launch date. Since geo hotz announcment of the first exploit, I stopped updateing the ofw at 3.15 or was it 3.41. Either way, I never needed one so I cant recommend which is better. @Sarah1331 is your one stop answer guide for that question. she is very knowledgable with the downgraders, and if your in the UK I would recomend you just ship your PS3 to her, she does it for cheap and its high quality work.
