the one we look at is for the wired and wireless network?

wireless and BT i think. or only wireless.

@xoda , personally i don't see how you can test anything, unless you take the metal cover off, but this must be way above our head?

I took the metal cover off but didnt see anything that was broken(like burnt or something) i linked to a pic a few posts up with the metal plate off. post#26

tried the whole re-marry thing but it didnt fix it(read the cfg in the remarry files and BT+wifi was there in the remarry process)

last thing im gonna try is the mm fix bd thing that @baileyscream mentioned
but i dont think it will work. isnt there anyone here with some hardware knowledge of the ps3, like the ones who edit ps3devwiki ?

BTW did the fsm dehash and im on 3.55 ofw now. gonna install rogero 4.30 2.05 again so at least my wife gets happy. (she plays Rayman more than i play anything) :P hehe and react psn ofcourse

I would think that it needs to be heated up, removed and replaced. I never done anything like that.
I wish it was easy like the old models. A couple screws and a ribbon.
