im really impressed of this 4.31 cfw and its features..


btw... some games i got an external hdd will not start (8xxxx error).. they have patched eboot.bins for 3.55 cfw.. what can i do to fix? just replace the patched bins with the original ones?

games with 3.55 fixxes only work on 3.55 fws

My ps3 got bricked after i upgraded to MiralaTijera CFW 4.31. I followd this Tutorial the installation was succesfull after restart the ps3 is bricked. I was on kmeaw 3.55 without any problem almost 2 years but now bye bye to my ps3. you guys who have succed to upgrade congratulations to u. by the way this is a good Tutorial i must have been unlucky.

you should always update from 3.55 ofw, and not cfw, its safer

then we should have some bricks by now..from kmeaw to 4.31CFW from recovery should work without bricking..weird...

whats' the PS3 doing atm?
did the 4.31 v2-update4 install completly?
it has build-in FSM, try to trigger it (pull power/plugin power at the back - quikly press power+eject) and let it do its thing, can take up to 2 min, the ps3 shutsdown(no beeps)
then install 4.31CFW V2! from FSM using enter lv2diag.self..see if it works

with Today,we install this CFW on 135 PS3 that a few were kmeaw without any Bricking, black screen and etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ya i had bad luck today. kmeaw worked fine for me for a long time..

I tried today no luck,
yes,4.31 v2-update4 install completly
The ps3 starts for 3 sec and shuts down.
Red light continue to blink after shut down !

u have kmeaw dump to restore? this could not work btw..it didn't for 4.21.2 and flashing a 355 one = still (soft)bricked)

when it installed completly, u seen the process bar on screen..all the way upto 100%?
then what it booted into XMB or RLOD after update..right away?

because it got installed all the way, it has build-in FSM, try to trigger it

No i dont have kmeaw Dump.
yes it installed to 100% and it booted to XMB i updated Multiman after boot i tried to install multiman for 4.31 and i got this msg (Your installation of multiman is incomplete" please install BASE or FULL.
after msg i uninstalled multiman complete and tried to restart ps3 the ps3 will not start.
How do u mean with trigger ? Do u have any Tutorial or tips.
