dont know...3.56 is sitting there in ros0/1 so also on COREOS/NOR flash, it keeps asking for the 3.56 unless u patch it with 4.30 three musk ones, flash it and hope its alive again(assume HDD works fine) finish it off by installing e.g Rogero 4.30/4.31CFW etc...

isn't this a 3.56 issue like player posted?! + did u try the youtube vid to see if formatting HDD works then re-install 3.56 V2(the fixed one) the youtube also talks aboyt a ribbon cable?! anyway good luck on the fix, another cheap one fixed

I have try everything what U say but nothing works.Tomorrow I will try solder nor tristate and flash patched bin i flash fun mode.

without background of the ps3 its hard guessing, most things to test with that error u tryed...what does it do..keep looping? u changed hdd's, if it stays on there's no need to solder for flashfun, aslong it wont shutdown, wait to whatever error or disconnect the hdd and see what it does... "cannot found hdd"? then dump/flash from there..sometimes i wish to had such consoles just to play around

I think there is something wrong with the dump. Why is there 26 files inside the ros folders?

I am not quite sure what exactly is wrong besides that. I checked metldr and bootldr, look fine, and are the correct size.

But when I try to use Nor Inspector, it crashes. I have only had it crash on me when the dump is bad.
