Yeah.

How much you think I can get for a jailbroken motherboard on Rogero 4.30 v2.05. With a bad bt/wifi module. LOL.

I already fixed another console with the HDD from it. Now I'm gonna take the blu ray drive to fix another.

i doubt there is a stencil for it.
so reballing wont be an option unless you remove the board and send it for a custom stencil to be made. then you need to know how thick to make the stencil and for that you need to find out what size solder balls should be used on it.

but thats without knowing if the solder does need changing or if the hardware is really at fault.

Just order a really long USB cord. And a real long Ethernet cable, if you want online game updates.

Just another example of Sony focking us.

If it was 2007, we would just be like spend $10 for a new one. LOL.

yea shame they stuck them on the board.
would be so much easer to fault find if you could just swap them.

i wonder if @Sarah1331 has a trashed board and can get some better pics of that board and even remove it and see what its like below the board?

desoldering is a no go for me, i tried to desolder a tiny resistor from an old scrap board and completly lost the part.

can't even find it back with a magnifying glass.

EDIT:
i just did read the same problem on a german forum, reballing the board and SB did not help, checking the power did not help either...and the thread just died.

Any luck finding a new bt/wifi board? I'm in the same boat except I have limited functionality with frequent disconnects.
