I was talking about the guy behind the program too...He can't be that bad.. putting something as useful as multiman together and sharing it with the end user. Even if it wasnt all his code. It doesn't really matter, bill gates takes others code, puts a different coat of paint on it, locks it up and sells it for millions. That's how it all moves along.. Ideas are rarely original... Just improved upon.

But you DON'T have to update if you don't want, but you'll propably be stuck with having to use MM 4.x or Iris.. No-one is twisting your arm to update..
You just can't demand from a developer to support firmwares which he doesn't have interest in anymore (because it really takes a lot of time to check if it all still works, and MM 5 is propably using systemcalls which aren't available on a lesser firmware).. When (and if) deank releases the source to MM you can go and alter it for unsupported CFW's (but I think peopl will just rip it and do a recompile with a different skin and publish it as their baby)..

When I update to CFW4.x I also won't go test my homebrew on CFW3.55, if it works, well that's great, if it doesn't, tough luck, I'm not gonna spend my precious time on something that I don't care about anymore..

It's a shame how i see people criticising him, calling dean names, multiman is the only homebrew that resisted from the bigining of ps3 exploits, its one all-in-one homebrew that gives us plenty options but looks like eveyone is turning their back on this awesome work from dean, and even its free for all but yet complains after complains after the new iris came out. you guys should be shame of yourselfs if you want to do it better then do it yourselfs, it is not obligated to make multiman compatible with every single cfw out there, why dont you guys change cfw? to lazy? well dean as the right to be also lazy and not make it compatible with lower cfw. all said.
