yup, but this isn't changing "full eid5" only the "IDPS" > 82 and not fully converted like eid0 so with that tool its real save way to switch but not full eid5 cex2dex conversion, it needs a full conversion/calculation however one does it..else its just not full dex

Apparently GTA:V devs used 4.30 DEX.

Blatantly someone had it but withheld it, as they knew way back then that 4.30 would brick a converted dex.

That method does not really need anything, only sony can give you a valid eid5

if we just knew what to calculate from where to where (eid5) isnt it the same procedure as convert eid0 using our rootkey+the keyseeds, must be possible if u know howto

I fear this aswell. Ive got a very strong feeling that 4.30 CFW is going to be the last CFW for a while just like 3.55 was. And I bet you it will be something like fw 5.0. To mark the beginning of this new security feature in the firmware

I can't see Sony doing this due to the fact PS4 is imminent Sony will want to sell all there PS3 stock within a few years so they might allow future PS3 updates to be hacked IMO

I doubt it. They can't do anything about hackable PS3s. We got the keys.

Also, there is a 4.31 CFW. So 4.30 CFW definitely isn't the last.

Oops I forgot about 4.31

Ya I know we have the keys to patch future firmwares its just that its sony. Im pretty sure they are looking into every angle possible to maybe have some sort of extra verifying check or some crap that is encrypted etc. You never know
