if I follow method 1 on the 13th step/bullet do I uninstall e3 flasher or does it not apply to me.

I am using normal e3 flasher no esata and I have no dongle to enter factory service mode am I following correct method.

You need to have your hard drive attached to install firmware. So yes, after you are done flashing the patched bkpps3.bin, uninstall your flasher and rebuild your PS3.

Btw, if I follow method 2 since you say re marry only for 1 and 3 can I avoid the re marry progress. I will get dongle or use my friends iphone for dongle or steal TI-84 from school haha

I think I missed your problem? Did you edit it away?

If you do METHOD 3 you can remarry the bd board when you get to Rogero v3.7. Then can continue with Part 2 Qa flag. Since you will need a married blu ray logic board to complete the guide.
You can do METHOD 1 and METHOD 2, without a married logic board. But to do METHOD 1 you need at least a logic board attached. It doesn't have to be married though. It would be pointless though, since you need to be on 3.55 to remarry, and you can't use any homebrew without it married.

If you are downgrading to remarry a blu ray drive, I would suggest METHOD 3.

Hi I recently bought (Sealed) a cech2003a which I was told was so old it must be on the desirable FW.
It was not it was on 3.72 Gutted. Nowt I can do is there? Even the E3 - It cannot flash this to a FW below that it was born on, can it?

If your model # is cech-2003a, you can follow this guide.

If you mistyped, and meant cech-3003a then you can not.

If it came from the factory with 3.72, it can't go to 3.55. And you have an unhackable PS3. Can you double check your model # and manufacturing date.
You can also use Min. Version Checker Tool PUP, to check the minimum firmware.

If you purchased a cech-2003a, that was suppose to be sealed. Then whoever you bought it from, lied about it being sealed. Because minimum firmware on that model is 2.70. And they would have had to open it and install 3.72 on it.

Anyway, I would complain to who sold it, and ask for a partial refund. Since if that model was sealed brand new, then you should have been on 2.76 or 2.70. And not needed a flasher.
