Super Slim Components And Test Points
I have received a super slim
CHECH-4003A DATE CODE [2C] BOARD MPX-001 RATED: 220-240~0.85A 50/60Hz ![]() This one is the 12GB version (NO HDD) this also doesn't have a normal NOR chip In its place there is a:- Panasonic MN66840 231P50VN And to the side of that there is a NAND chip (16gb) SAMSUNG 231 KLMAG2GE4A-A001 HCFE759V (<<the V could be a U) The ones documented on the wiki have normal NOR chips http://www.ps3devwiki.com/index.php?...0x&oldid=16361 link to the updated page http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/MPX-00x you can also see the layout of the board on the above link. These are images from the one I have ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TOP OF THE BOARD ![]() Top left ![]() Bottom left ![]() Top right ![]() Bottom right ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOTTOM OF THE BOARD ![]() Top left ![]() Bottom left ![]() Top right ![]() Bottom right ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now I got hold of this as its in need of repair. Unfortunately I didn't know it had lemonade spilt into it. I did boot and then the graphics would freeze (tested before opening and finding out it had something spilt into it) so it has been getting a deep clean Once its all cleaned up and dried out I will be re-building it and testing it again One its working then I will start tracing the test points @euss or @defyboy If the images and info is to any use for you then please feel free to copy the images etc for your wiki ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update i have got the super slim working by doing a reflow on my re-work station. When i get the profiles right it will be getting a re-ball but for now this will do. ![]() Screen shot As you can see it uses flash memory And its rated as 12GB Also it has 4.22 firmware Tried minvercheck i get [Update data of version 4.22 or later can be installed on this system. (8002f967) ] power board images (remember the super slim has a mechanical eject so its just power) ![]() Rear ![]() Front ![]() Size comparison. Its tiny hence the rear / front pics are blurry ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and on this link: http://www.samsung.com/global/busine...emmc/catalogue you will find in the tabel:- KLMAG2GE4A 16GB x8 1.7~1.95, 2.7~3.6 169FBGA MassProduction --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i will put important replies in here to save searching the pages of replies
