Need help PS3 after Send over ENTER files (Downgrade) Help

This is really strange.

Got the dump. Validated as much as I could and It looked valid. Patched it and sent it over.

The ps3 then booted up and I was requiested to press the ps button. Turn the ps3 off and put it into FSM. The ps3 turned of removed the JB dongle and put the ENTER folder with the files onto the root of a fat32 usb stick, turn the ps3 off. After around 20 seconds the ps3 turn off. At this point i turned it back on with the E3 flasher still hooked up and after 15 - 20 seconds the ps3 turnt off.

I removed the E3 flasher and put the HD back in it's original place now the ps3 boots up and doesn't turn off but doesn't display anything on the TV.

There's no rlod the the lights green

Any help much appreciated.

Ta,

EDIT: Seams there is no power going to the usb ports now either

Ta,
a couple things, it might be just that..

first when u flashed the "patched" dump with "all switches" DOWN..right?
then power off at the controller screen
insert fsm dongle
put back power
trigger FSM
set switch 6 UP rest leave down (6 UP = installing firmwares)
u say "enter FOLDER+files" on root?!
put only the enter "lv2diag.self+PS3UPDAT.PUP(rogero3.7) on root of USB
put in right slot
power on ps3, normally it should install the firmware and ps3 goes off after a couple minutes, exit with exit "lv2diag.self" etc..

After the enter Lv2diag.self and PS3UPDAT.PUP step when the PS3 shut down you can remove the USB stick and check UPDATER_LOG.TXT

Hi, thanks for the reply.

No flashed the patched dump over with all switches down expect the first one.

Power off when finished flash by holding power button.

Turn on to see ps button, then again turn off by holding power button.

Now JD dongle to right slot. trigger FSM. PS3 turns off.

Now put. Enter folder with lv2diag.self+PS3UPDAT.PUP(rogero3.7) on root of USB put in right slot ( no JD dongle ) turn on and ps3 turned off after 15 - 20 seconds.

Now the ps3 doesn't stay on with the E3 mainboard connected but stays on with the HD connected only, but no video or sound on TV

@smTT With the hard drive fitted directly, you can attempt to use your FSM jig again and the enter Lv2diag.self and PS3UPDAT.PUP

It should be a few minutes before the PS3 switches itself off and creates the updater_log.txt file on your USB stick.

baileyscream style reply im borrow this only 1time

instead of using power button in the front, u must pull the powercable or on PHAT L04 > switch to OFF

Now JD dongle to right slot

power switch back to ON at the back

trigger FSM. PS3 turns off.

Flip the last switch 6 on the TF coverboard to UP
if u leave it DOWN position(for flashing the patched dump) it cannot/take the firmware

Now put. lv2diag.self+PS3UPDAT.PUP(rogero3.7) on root of USB put in right slot ( no JD dongle ) turn on and ps3

^ incase u ment +EXIT FOLDER..corrected
hopefully fixed at this point

I'll keep this in mind if I can get the ps3 to stay on with the E3 mainboard connected. Will let you know how I get on.

Update: I have tried.

Nor tristate to 3.3v ( 3.3v being solder point on the motherboard ) still the Ps3 will not stay on.

Removed the above. to try the below.

Nor tristate to SB ( On E3 clip )

Ps3 Still not staying on.

At one point, as wrote earlier in this thread i said the ps3 was staying on when just the HD is connected and the E3 is not connected. Now the ps3 is not even managing that.

Woow more reading. Anyone with anything to add, that would be super duper cool right now.

Ta,
