HD Backup needed?
Will this delete the info from my hd?
I am on kiosk 4.11 and will use the 4.21 reverter. Do I need to worry about the HD or not? Million thanks btw!!!! |

Yeah I am already mostly done with the revert. I thought about it for 2 secs after posting and realized I was an idiot.
 Wish I could "like" your post a few hundred times! You have made me very happy. Been living with this stupid "demo" mode for years now. Ever since CC went out of business. Hello. I recently acquired a Kiosk PS3 from my stores closing sale. It's a CECHA01 and runs Kiosk Firmware 3.70. Figured I got it for a steal @ $100.
Just curious as to how I go about reverting it, if possible. It's currently formatting downstairs as it's got a crap ton of useless stuff on it (videos, pictures, music, demo games, etc.) I didn't want to manually remove everything, but now I'm waiting 9 hours for it to format... Anyways. Once that's done, is it possible to revert it? If so, which reverter would I use? Or am I going to have to update it's Kiosk firmware first now that I've formatted it? (when it's done.) |
