haha snony and protection..a rubber cant beat it..its crazy ...i have a dump of this ps3 somewhere, but as i see it from my perpective its not be fixed, best gonna use it to practice removing nor etc... u have to do something thx anyway Mr.Dutch

edit: @Mr.Dutch ..lets assume its possible..it eats nothing anyway ...but its just stupid from my side, some jobs better left alone for others if it could be fixed i'll shoot some (crappy) high res pics of it..thats for sure hehe

Im going to experiment on this machine a bit more, btw, can I list items from ebay?, anyways, search for Conductive Silver ink Pen in common sites.

Pls keep this thread alive ;(.

on that last picture, look at that scratch on the mobo traces, that kinda attracts more attention to my eyes more than your cpu scratches.

Can you examine that area and tell us what that is ? try to clean the area around the cpu as will with alcohol, all those traces and such

EDIT: I also noticed on the right side now, 2nd picture, some grey tinting over a couple traces ? Is that arctic silver 5 thermal compound ?

Hi, you can clearly see a shiny-bronze scratch in the second picture, I took the board to a computer workshop and he told me that you probably had scratched 10-15 traces, some traces are very hard to see, I need a microscope-lvl equipments, however, a friend of mine gave me a scrapped ps3 board, which has a functional rsx chip , I will continue my testing on monday and post the results, by the way, for whatever reason, I took it to an iphone workshop; however, workers refused to connect traces ( yes they have all the tools they need!). Thank you all, I will post results on monday.

I replaced the gpu, its not working. My diagnosis is, the system is selfaware and refuse to work. Im tired of this, by the way, what chips I have to take I I want to swap the cpu?!
