PS3 Linux install

I did a bunch of searching on the web on how to install any linux distro to my ps3, i found quite a bit of information on the subject, but nothing to help me. So, i was wandering if it was possible to install and distro of linux to my fat ps3 running 4.30 rogero. If i really had to go back to 3.55 kmeaw i will, but i was hoping this would be possible, thanks!
