I tried (like raiden @Console open) NORway with NOR in zif socket.
You suggest me on irc to coonect BYTE# and WP# to vcc but still same result.
No chip identification, so we can dump but not write.
Any suggestion?

I haven't tried to write until now with this new hardware

That was a bug in older versions. Tristate has to be pulled low.

Mmmh, i'll try to switch tristate to ground

UPDATE

Judges, thank you ^_^

spansion is working now, i presume all NORs will work now.

Things to do for zif socket correct writing:
100nF capacitor between GND and 3.3 volt, simple and plain :P

progsh1t is gonna to the trash can

Capacitator between GND and 3.3 volt it is a must, as close as posible to pins itself. And this is true when working with all kind of flash IC.
