thats decent for a hack and slash. Kojima did not do this game, hence why the cut scenes are not full length movies ^_^

DmC was quite long for a hack n slash game.

Not really feeling MGR, it has some awesome set pieces though.

I'm going to play DMC 3 next, never really played that one and heard great things about it.

no it wasnt >_< it was about the same time as this one. I beat DMC in 6hrs too. Both games are the top 2 Hack and slashes I have ever played.

Especially DMC, I love the make over that Ninja Theory did. MGR is awesome in the aspect that Raiden is trying to get his own series. Fails in the aspect that its not what MGS fans are used too, its something new that takes them from there comfort zone. Its a good thing to be moved from your comfort zone every now and then though, keeps things in perspective ^_^

Well given I take to Metal Gear games like a fish takes to water. The games battles were a no brainer for me. some may get stuck or repeat levels over and over cause of dying.

So they might have a longer play threw time. For a extreme MG and MGS fan this game will take you no time ( I.E the 6hrs ). I have no idea what the average gamers play threw time is, as im not a average gamer .

If you have never played a MGS or MG game in your life, then I would expect the game to have a play time of 8hrs on Normal setting ( which I had it on, always first setting with those games. then I move to easy , then to hard, then to extreme. )
