@baargle I specifically asked about a HEN because i realize that anything 3.56+ CANNOT be jailbroken nor will it ever be. That's why I asked if a Homebrew ENabler was possible.

Homebrew and games still released for 4.30 CFW, thatotherdev makes some fierce games, emulators like retro arch, media players like showtime, PSX iso loading for Iris and now mM.

Scene is still strong for those who know how to get a jailbreakable console, and yes there are still consoles being sold as new that can be!
(most people buy a console and then think about jailbreaking, for me I think "which model can be jailbroken?" before I jumped in a bought).

Admittedly it would be very handy to have homebrew for the late 25XX consoles up to 40XX, but would the scene flourish any brighter, or would it get swallowed up in piracy?

These ODE's promise piracy for all, at a price, but no chance of homebrew.

If the makers shared their methods, perhaps the scene would flourish for 25XX-40XX Ps3 users... until then the people that pay for those are preventing them giving up their secrets.... but would they give them freely if no one was willing to pay?
