You can swap the security chip from one board to another. This works as i did it today and nearly whizzed my pants as i didnt think it would work as i had taken a couple of pads of the logic board cleaning it. if you want to do it heres a guide.
Things you'll need, hot air solder iron normal soldering iron some flux paste solder braid/wick solder balls or solder paste isopropranol cleaner cotton buds and patience, LOTS of patience. Get a hot air solder iron, put some flux around the edges of the chip and set to 400 degrees with a medium nozzle and work around the chip for around 1-2 mins.check with a screw driver or implement to see if chip moves, if it does then flick the chip off. Use solder wick and a normal soldering iron to clean the chip. now this is the tricky bit, i didnt have solder paste so i manually placed a solder ball on each pad on the chip ( put a fine layer of flux on first ) and set your hot air iron to 350-400 degrees and turn air right down and hold around 6 inches above the chip. once you see then balls shine that means they are melting, now watch carefully for any balls joining together and separate if needed. once done, let it cool for 1 min and clean with isopropranol or alcohol based liquid. you will have to repeat this process on the other board too. once the board is ready, put a fine layer of fluxc down on the chip area and align the chip using the 4 brass coloured markers and place a couple of small bolt nuts or something metal and not too weighty on top of the chip this will stop the hot air iron from moving the chip when you come to heat it up. now heat again for around 2 mins with the air turned up full at 400 degrees. let it cool for 5 mins the clean any excess flux. place board into blu ray drive and enjoy gaming again. I had to share this as i see so many requests for downgrading only to see its not possible on their console without spending big bucks on an e3 flasher system. this was my first attempt at this but if your attempting it, try it out on a few duff boards if you have them. there is a video on youtube, just search logic board chip swap and you will find it. good luck
