I couldn't believe it myself when I saw the FW screen on first boot. I had heard you struggled to buy this model and not get the desired FW (I wouldn't mind for this reason I paid top dollar.)
I swear though it was sealed, completely intact, and definitely a cech2003a
So it can't be helped?

Hello, i don't know what to and i ask here for help. I have a fat CECHL, installed e3, made a back-up, validate it, patched with rogero's nor patcher, flashed with success, removed e3, assembled the console but when i open it stays a few second and when the hdd led is blinking is shutiing down without warning.Thanks

If that is indeed your model #, you can follow this guide. I am positive.

I have a cech 2001a. Im waiting for my E3 to come in the mail. Im on OFW 4.30, If i want to end up on rogero 4.30, would i need to downgrade to 3.55 ofw first? I would be following chapter 2 method 1.

It is recommended to downgrade to 3.55 and dehash. This way you have Qa flag toggled on, and will be able to downgrade easier in the future.
Plus it is best to go from OFW 3.55 to Rogero 4.30. Just to make sure all the info in the flash is correct.

Although, it does work to go straight to Rogero 4.30 with METHOD 1. If you do it that way, enter the recovery menu and choose option 3. restore file system after.

cool thanks for the help. When i make multiple dumps do i have to copy the the files to the computer after each dump? Or will it auto rename them so they dont get overwritten?

Copy it to the computer after each dump.

I always make a folder named whatever you want, like the serial # or something. Then inside that folder make folders, dump1, dump2, etc...

You have to take the sd card to the pc anyway to validate it, or compare it to the valid dump you made before, so copy it. Then empty the sd card and make another dump.

Once you get multiple valid dumps, empty the sd card, and continue with Chapter 2.
