Are you saying this package install error would be fixed if I returned to CEX & went to DEX for a second time? I have the flash dumps but it seems a very risky operation for such a problem. Surely there must be something else?

Also, this error is a hindrence to me. I can get around it, but it's a pain in the ass when loading games, only to find out an update exists. It's not a big deal, but I thought perhaps, just perhaps I could get an answer. But it seems I'm stepping into untreaded territory and noone really knows the answer.

hmm...was this? and all the hate..the guy just asking a question...stil not answerd minus all the likes this error must be fixable without converting back each time right? but how u only have it with "game updates"? when u play a game..it ask u to update and then results in that error on installing on dex? is retail on dex package or some?! also can u try "enable" all lv1 options in the toolbox...the "install all packages" or something i thought with REX 4.21.2 u can load them both(cex+fself) from the coverted dex..cant test atm...

can u post that package to take a look if possible

I have trouble nn Rebug 4.21 Dex Mode: cannot update games/ps store through XMB; error (80029567). So I updated to 4.21 rebug cfw on dex mode (because I have faulty bd). I backed up fifa 13 and AC 3, put them on my internal and they showed up on multiMAN as normal. Both of them needed updates when I tried to start them, but on both I get an error (80029567) when trying to do it. Luckily with multiMAN, games can be updated through it, so that wasn't a problem. Next I realized that they games didn't start although they were updated through mM, and with some searching and troubleshooting, I figured out that I need to set debug menu to CEX QA in toolbox 2. THEN, the games work! The problem I still have is with PS Store, I still have that " error (80029567)" when trying to update it, and I don't understand why that is?

This is a known bug with REX DEX. You need to switch back over to the CEX side of it and install the package, then you'll be able to use it on the dex side. This goes for anything downloaded from PSN. Seeing as you are already on DEX, it's not that hard. I switch back and forth all the time and it only takes seconds to do.

Thankyou for the info, it's just strange that I can manually download and install the exact same .pkg fine - that would fail if it was to start through automatic game update (when the game loads up).

It's a small price to pay though, just need to remember to always check for updates before mounting the game in multiMan.

i used rebug 4.21.2 and am converted to dex, and apparently i know more than you do.

as for going into detail, you should have read up on rebug 4.21.1 or 4.21.2 before installing this and you would have known the answer

Just install the package manually. No need to go back n forth.

It is because you are trying to connect to the game update server, for CEX on DEX.

You can just press circle to continue to the game without installing the update.

If you change NP Environment in Debug Settings to sp-int, it won't prompt you for the update. Maybe a different Environment will allow for the download. I am not sure.
