i recently ps3 and just want to confirm that is the ps3 worth or not

it is 2508B model 320 gb hd it is on 3.55 it is slim,good condition,no scratches

and it cost me around 350 dollars

is the price worth or waste

350 dollars is way too much, you could buy one from a pawn shop and downgrade it cheaper than that, i would give no more than 150-175 for it. Don't let them fool you just because its on 3.55, it doesn't make it worth any more in my opinion.

here is the problem i m from india and people around here not ready to sell there ps3 but they demand for more money i think you are right but there are no pawn shops are very rare and they do not even know about ps3 because the said on asking demand of ps3 in india is not so much now where to buy then from...........

Aww this is so familiar for me ; ; ofc if u think it worth then it worth . I live in Russia lol and no in big city so we have peoples here that not even know wtf is PS3 or online lmao .

But hardware downgrades are expensive. I mean the going price of a used ps3 slim is about 200 dollars with one controller. To get one that's on 3.55 or earlier easily adds about a hundred dollars to the price, especially if it's already jailbroken and ready to go.

I think that's a pretty good price for a PS3 on 3.55 at your location. I mean as this guy said, he is from India and ps3's on 3.55 are there very rare i think.

If you are thinking of buying it you should look if it is in good condition and if everything is working how it should be.

ok so lets do some math..

used ps3 = 200
e3 flasher = 85

= 285

and your still saving 65 dollars. as im sure you could find a ps3 with free shipping and the e3 would cost no more that 10 to ship so you would still be saving. but do as you wish.

Then there's a tenner for thermal paste, waiting for shipping, hoping you don't damage the clip etc. before getting a good read/write, so it's 45 over a DIY one, but it is a 2500 (which is the one I'd aim for) too. Saving one game disk getting scratched could cover the difference.

In short, you paid the premium to have it now and take much less risk. If you'd bought a PS1.2+clip to downgrade one, you'd be stuck waiting for software.

Stop stressing and just enjoy it, now that you have it!

I'd also factor in labor and the risk of making a mistake/bricking the console doing it yourself.
