Hey guys!

I'm using Rogero 4.30 on my broken-bd ps3. A lot of games work perfectly (ACIII, Max Payne 3, ..).
But there is a list of games which doesn't work at all. It's always the same thing: I start a game in mulitman (LBP, LBP2, Rayman origins, LBP Karting,..i tried all the game options), go back to xmb, try to start the game via /app_home -> blackscreen.

So, the games which produce bs are games, which usually need bd inserted, which doesn't work for me obviously.

Do you think, the bs are result of my missing bd drive? Do you think, that the bd emu option of the rebug firmware could help me?

I heard that there is no proper bdemu feature on rebug 4.30.1, does this mean i should use 4.21 instead?

Yes, REBUG REX 4.21.2 will solve your problem. Follow this guide to run all games discless.
REBUG 4.30.1 will not work, because you need to convert to DEX. And that firmware does not have that option.

You need to downgrade and get on Kmeaw 3.55, before starting the guide.

i have 2 questions on your guide:

"*now plug your usb drive & go to multiman-->hdd0-->tmp and copy eid_root_key to usb drive then to your pc and rename it to dump"

- do i have to rename the file to dump? dump only?

"*launch toolbox and go to cex dex and choose export flash to file"

- i can not see this option. there's only "swap lv2 kernel" and "rewrite target ID in flash"

rename it to dump it will end up being dump.bin

cex2dex is a .exe application to use on your PC. It should be in the download.
Or I may be able to find a link for it.

I just reread your post, and you are trying to dump the flash. You need to go all the way to the right in the toolbox. It is in the last row.

Okay, i'm almost through the guide, but i can't find the "playstation.iso" anywhere.. anyone knows something about that?
