Thanks you sarah1331.
I've tried your method and i've ended with a brick (i did something wrong for sure)

Move all the data below this bad block up as to fill these locations start with the top one first and do this for all the blocks that are bad

It's not clear to me how to do this:

this as to be done on a single nand dump or on an joined NAND?
When you relocate all the data after a bad block do you have to add a block in the end?

Thanks a lot.

Ok to start be careful not to mistake the end of a block with 0's for the start of the bad block

Move all the data below the bad block up to the start of the bad block do not just delete the bad block and try add block at the end

You must do it before interleaving the NANDs

I can fix RSOD NOR image also since this is not a bad block problem, this is a bad area structure in NOR image it caused by bad cVTRM area structure and i had fixed a lot of console by fixing the structure of this area helped a lot of peoples in #ps3dev channel fixing their RSOD console even before any public method released.
Also the method that i use will help peoples that can not install OtherOS++ patched PUP or can not use service mode to run Lv2diag.self that will fix RSOD.

Ok, i'm using an excel macro to get block start address and block end address so i'm sure i'm good.

i've done what you said and since the two last blocks are filled with FF it results the same as if i delete the bad block and add a block with full FF in the end.

now i'm looking with flowrebuilder how it going on.

writing a code isn't that hard when you know what to do ... obviously it is harder to know what to do with bad blocks

@zoom33 ,

you can try NANDWay. The NANDWay.py pyton script has a remapbadblocks command to remap the bad blocks from one NAND chip to another.

@Sarah1331 , 'whala' is spelled voilą, French for there is (or here is).

Makes me LOL every time you write 'whala'.
