Sorry for the NOOB?
Ok I apologize, I know its been asked a million times. I was gonna get a 1st gen ps3 so I could downgrade to 3.55 and play legal backups(hint hint wink wink). But I got this crazy good deal, I only paid $150 for a super slim! But under investigation, I understand I cant jailbreak this model? I guess my question is, should I make a profit off this super slim and get an older system to jailbreak, or should I hold out for the breakthrough on the new systems. Thanks in advance!

Since ypu have the super soim get the cobra odde which will allow your to run backups on a super slim machine.

yeah need to check for correct cech model i went out and got me a cech2101b because it was easier to find at gamestop just look for the 250gb models if you can find one. And if your going to flash and down grade dont forget to replace the themal compound.

I agree with the others. Cobra-ODE is just another way to milk people on the scene. Also, if you get it, enjoy downloading around 40 GB per backup (yup, you need 40 GB iso files for that to work, oh good luck getting them).
