Hi, I'm new to the ps3hax scene and wanted to ask you if this tool can be used to mod a GT5 save game. Can it be used to do things like add money or horsepower and weight to any car within the game. Thanks

if you get some "ps3savepatch" files working, please PM me to include them with the installer.

Cheats should be stored on .\Cheats folder
The files should be named TITLEID.ps3savecheat or TITLE NAME.ps3savecheat (TITLEID has priority over TITLE NAME)

Non-real cheat example. It is just to illustrate the file format:

BLUS30976.ps3savepatch

It does not matter if you are on OFW or CFW. It is all done on your PC.

1. Download Aldo's scetool set.
2. Extract the game package using PkgView.
3. If it uses rap file, place the file in the rap folder. If it uses a fixed pkg, extract the fix pkg and use scetool the decrypt the eboot.bin to elf.

Here is a simple command for a start.

You may want to make it as a bat file.

scetool.exe --decrypt EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.ELF

4. Once you have your elf file, you can use Aldo's BSD tool with your elf file and save data to bruteforce and find the key.

You may not get it right the first time. You have to play around. Eventually you will get it!

Just getting into this jailbreaking my ps3! I am excited to learn what this does. A guide would be sweet otherwise I shall make one when I have this figured out haha
