That's what I thought, but wouldn't it have been removed by using the reverter?

I thought they were ways to get a log via ethernet on your pc though i have never played with that meself a couple of thoughts you say ten mins roughly you freeze have you timed this to see if it is exact (as a computer would be...) do you freeze if idle at xmb? If idle in multiman?

Back for an update. I ordered new thermal pads and installed them on all the correct spots. Still freezing, even froze faster this time.

I have frozen in both Multiman and XMB after leaving it idle for an hour or so.

Anyone have any other ideas or any ways I can diagnose the entire system?

Gonna get it reballed tomorrow, have a feeling something is wrong with the GPU. Since it was a demo ps3 it must have been sitting in one of those enclosed cases heating up all day. Probably verging on YLOD.

Final Update:

Went to a reballing service. Had the GPU reballed, the issue still occurred so he replaced the GPU and now all runs well

Turns out my GPU was bad.
