How about donations to devs that work on this sort of thing. Everyone who really wants such a jailbreak should pitch in some money to contribute.

Well, that settles it. Their will not be ANY type of exploit for any up to date firmware anytime soon. People can dream but, this time Sony learned from their previous mistakes.

1k (PHAT)/2k (SLIM) consoles can be jailbroken. 2.5k (SLIM) consoles are 50/50 if they can, must have a date code of before march 2011 to be sure they can. 3k (SLIM)/4k (ULTRA SLIM) consoles cannot be jailbroken. If any of the jailbreakable consoles have a OFW higher than 3.55 on them, they need to be downgraded with a hardware flasher (NAND OR NOR depending on the model). Its not hard to read before you rush out to buy. I did. Twice.
