When it was released, it was before the recession and American currency was half that of UK, so in US you pad $500 which works at £250, when the PS3 was released in UK, it sold for £420.

Also lets not forget Brazil, who had to pay $1000.

I Believe in the day and age, Company take full advantage of exchange rates. I seen what Aussie's pay for games, Movies and Music WTF. I see everything wrong with it.
