100% clipped = all pins toughing...and not getting loose while dumping/writing
else u keep getting errors, so make sure its all the way connected to the NOR as all other connections, then start dumping again cuse u'll need all ur per console data intact..then if all is intact and maybe the ROS0/1 is still corrupt, no worry there cuse u patch it with the 3.55 patches for downgrade

so i looked at verify the dumps in bailey's guide

everything matching except when the guide says ... Ok now we need to take a look and check there are no malformed headers / file names / region names. This is what we are looking for:-
Now find the same positions as shown in blue in the following pictures yours should match

it shows 00000800 to 000008F0
my numbers stop matching about half way thru that

and bootldr 00FC0000
my number dont match there also

but that guide does say i have the right number for ros 1 / ros 2

and i tried the PS3_Nor_Dump_Auto_Patcher_v0.01 and still could not match all the numbers the guide told me to

so i guess i screwed up my ps3 permanitly

i was follwing bailey's guide but because the pictures stoped appearing on his guide i started watching that video where its like the guy is more like sdhowing off than making a usefull video

now the pictures are showing up on bailey's guide and i see alot goes into checking the dump before flashing anything

so i guess i will be looking for another ps3 that is downgradable

this ps3 is toast i guess, i have tried many times to read a nor but and complete it without errors in flow rebuilderByte reverse and EXTRACT a NOR dump file but always has errors

is there anything i can do to fix this ?

by errors you mean i will need to get another dump that completes without errors, flow rebuilder Byte reverse and EXTRACT a NOR dump file ?

ps3 stopped working when i tried to flash the nor i just read from the ps3 but it was not a perfect read of it

so it makes since to me that i have srewed up my ps3 by writing this bad nand to the chip

and i never had a good dump of my nand so im never gonna get a good dump now , correct ?

unless there is something you guys know that i dont know

its normal that its showing different data on parts = per console data..each PS3 has its own per console data

ur first OFW dump is intact minus the COREOS(ros0/1) parts correct?

u have to make sure the clip is fitted 100% and dump again cuse even if the "first" ofw dump is ok after patching it to (un)corrupt COREOS(ros0/1) u have to make sure the clip is fitted else u keep busy

so dump again and compare, if u keep getitng the same backup as the first one(= per console intact) with ros0/1 incomplete...then patch it and move on from there

hmmz... 3absiso checked it and only ROS0/1 was off?! then all per console data is intact and patching the OFW dump with Rogero's auto patcher(355 coreos) must work...so nothing lost as of yet....BUT U MUST RECLIP AND MAKE SURE ITS CLIPPED ALL THE WAY else its not gonna work...aka beepbeepbeep off ..so reclip and redump

i keep reading my nor over a dozen times now none of them complete with out errors in flow rebuilder Byte reverse and EXTRACT a NOR dump file

only the first read of nor before i tried to flash it back to the chip

do you still think its a bad connection issue ?

with incomplete/corrup ROS0/1 i believe it something extract without errors.dont guote me there....
and 3absiso checked and posted about this = valid but with incomplete ros0/1

then assuming the clip is clipped 100% and u keep redumping the same = compare with HxD then the ros0/1 is for real corrupt on NORflash and only way to fix is patching the dump...assuming the "per console data" is intact, then after writing patched(355) with the Rogero auto patcher indeed(drop original bkpps3.bin into it) it patches on-the-fly so no worry there with IF.I or FI.I, then write the patched one and follow the usual downgrade, after writing patched dump it must give u the "connect controller screen"

but i would recommended to keep redumping couple times to make sure u get the same dump as before....if u didn't do anything else in the meantime it must be "identical"

im gonna patch it with PS3 Nor Dump Auto-Patcher v0.01 by Rogero 11/Aug/2012

then im gonna take the bkpps3_patched.bin and rename it to bkpps3.bin

and try to flash it to my nor.

i have been doing all of this with my thumb not tape just my thumb

flashing that patched bin to the nor chip took like 8 minutes my thumb went numb but its working now

lights on my usb ps3 controller are back on

the tv screen said push button on controller and i did now tv screen says...
