What update version is your GT5 at?

Nevermind I didn't see it right away.
The only suggestion I have is deleting the game data and starting with fresh game data up to 2.10 then mod your save and try.

I have cfw rogero 4.30. And my gt version is 2.10. But i played the game on 1.0 until now.....updated and made a new save in gt mode. (When i normally save, gran turismo automatically saves a (backup) file.)

So you're at the 2.10 update and made a new save then tried to mod it? It should work. Try doing a couple of races then modding it. When I modded mine I was already at Lv 38 A-spec Lv28 B-spec.

also, when you transfer over the moded save make a backup of the unmodded save, delete it, then delete the backup before transferring the modded save.

I will try to do some races....but i think maybe it has a problem with the usa version, or maybe my old unused windows 7...

I have the BCUS version and can verify it does work...the 1st time. trying to edit the same save again after doing so previously is when I get the stuck GT5 logo screen.

I haven't tried with bruteforce save data.

games only allowing me to update to 2.11.
