It's pretty much common sense Sony wants to r@pe us. They make the new ps3 that they don't play ps2 games. They made the PSPgo use different memory stick. They made the vita memory a lot of money. They never put good games for PSplus members on the ps3. The ps4 is going to be a big rip off at first. They might change a few things but IT just might get better later on. At first the psp's didn't have a build in mic. You had to buy a Sony sh^t mic for around 50. Later on they made them build in. The ps3 was more of taken away with the changes they made. They took the 4 USB ports away, they taken the ps2 reader away. But they did change the look and made it little bit better.

If you want a company that will support the players go buy a wii U or xbox 360. The xbox 360 really changed a lot to help people. But they did take some things away. Last night I took some old xbox games, I tried them and 5 out of 8 worked. The others didn't because the game companies never updated them to work on 360. Go try and take ps2 games and test on a ps3 slim. It don't work because Sony knows the people want it up the butt.

Sony hasn't rules out some PSN games work thru emulation, just not ones that task PS3.

Sound like Cell/RSX is hard to emulate .

Considering it's totally different CPU/GPU, if Sony get any thing working from PS3, I'd say it's a bonus. In the meantime keep your PS3.

Kinda disappointed they didn't show the console. It's like telling everyone how fast your sports car is, but only showing them the keys.

But I think it was a smart move. It creates even more buzz and much hype for E3. It's gonna go like this: they're gonna present more gameplay demos to previous games they showed yesterday. They're gonna get into more detail about the Share/Social feature. They'll introduce newer titles, mainly launch titles. Then at the end of their presentation, the room will get dark. Then they'll reveal the console. Photojournalists and photographers will go ape **** snapping pics of this thing. And fanboys and non-fanboys alike will have mixed feelings about the design.

But I'm kinda hyped for this system. I love how everything is gonna be constant/instant. The waiting times for the PS3 are kinda painful. I love the "instantly play games while they download" feature. And I love the "instantly jump right back into your game the second you turn your console on" idea as well. Downloads and updates will download in the background too, so there will be no need to wait 25... 30... or even 40 minutes to download an update. Sony just may win over next generation.

OK first off I will say I am not impressed, but I was actually expecting not to be. A lot of that has to do with me changing over to PC gaming and consoles will always play catch up.

But on the other hand x86 architecture :D
Look at the xbox 1 and how it is still one of the best consoles you could buy for homebrew. This will make porting homebrew over much easier and I can actually see the community being flooded with new underground devs.
