I fail to see why we would even need kiosk firmware anymore?
To me, this is pretty much just like OFW (and before you scrape my balls, yes i am aware it's different. I just say this for arguments sake); you're still pretty restricted with things, homebrew is null, etc etc.

kiosk was always deemed inferior to ofw
thats how people got cheaper kiosk units and then converted to retail when jailbreaking had just started
