It should be fixed now in build 3.3.3. Here is the link:

What is the operation of "Unlock Save"? What does it actually perform?

There is also another minor bug. If the ICON0.PNG are transparent, the thin black line is missing.

i am not sure, but i think some saves/games are locked to specific accounts. this feature most likely will remove this restriction.

The "Unlock Save" is a feature suggested to me by @butnut

It fills the ACCOUNT_ID of the PARAM.SFO with 16 null chars (0x00)
and fields npaccountid, psid and userid2 in the PARAMS field are also nullfied.

According to butnut, in his tests this makes the save universal and can be used in any account id.

He tested 3.3.2 and reported it working fine... however, he just PM'd me telling that there are still issues with the patch.

IMO, only the ACCOUNT_ID and PARAMS:AccountID should be nullfied. The psid should contain the PSID from a template.sfo created on your PS3 and the userid2 should not be not touched. But I need some help testing this feature

The current version 3.3.3 works as butnut suggested initially.

EDITED:
@gingerbread the issue is due the resolution that you're using (probably 125%).
I switched to 125% font size and adjusted the window. It should be fine in the next update.

I have been following this post for a couple of weeks and first and foremost i would like to say to Altos you have upgraded faster than i could download,You are very good at what you do and thank you for doing it.
A program that can mod/resign any save is needed,(Thank you and please keep up the good work it means alot to us) This is by no means meant to be directed to Altos or his work......
The whole problem with this is the etiquette of hacking Rule 1 don't take credit for something you didn't do that's the problem, The database of codes is just wrong
Having the ability to add cheats is sweet GG or anywhere else but ripping off all there codes just aint,

just saying......

You won't have to wait much 3.3.4 is already uploaded.

- Added "Unlock Save Options" to settings and to right-click on [Patch SFO] button.
- Fixed minor issue about the thin line when font size is 125%
- Fixed a refresh issue when "update account id" is applied

Beautiful!

Notice some small issues.

When I click on saves that was "XXX[BLANK]", it becomes "BLANK'. The name prefix is gone.

Also will be be possible to add Rebug/Debug's Fake Save. Fake Save is 16 Fs if I am not wrong. If there is a Fake save, It will display XXX[FAKE]

Code:
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Will it be possible to add a custom text to the "Detail" field. It should not replace but add it to the end of the line. After any operation done by BSD, it automatically add the custom text at the end of Details field.

Another small issue is When I select the save, and click "Set PARAM.SFO for profile X", the open dialog box does not open the folder of the selected save.

Cool! How does it work?

Original
Detail: Save Game Data

I try clicking "open template.sfo". I added "Mod" in details field and saved the "template.sfo" I also checked "Copy DETAILS parameter from template.sfo" in the setting. Now when I select the save, and select "Update Account ID and copy PARAMS",

There is no change in Details field of the save.

It should be
Detail: Save Game Data Mod

Thanks Aldo!
