Nicely written review. Just some typos. Yes, I read it. Thanks. Its a first revision of s/w and h/w, I'm sure it will improve in many aspects. Needs to be more Mac OS X friendly. I wonder if someone will hack the mini-linux os on the pcb to do more?

It requires cfw to install ?Then why would anyone need this crap in the 1st place if they have to downgrade their ps3 on ofw .Get a E3 flasher!? CFW can do everything(most) anyways .What of waste of Life reading this article lols.

PIC Zone Data = 115 bytes and Disc Encryption Seed = 2x16 bytes (16 bytes to retrieve the disc key that is used for decryption and 16 bytes which appears to be a disc-unique fingerprint).. So in total the only extra data is 147 bytes. These bytes are injected into sector 2 of the ISO

but just wait a bit longer..You will see a new App to use your jb games hehe

i see it says they're working on PS3 slims with OFW 4.xx to get the BD keys. i got 3012b model slim ps3 that came with 3.71 OFW. can i use this? or is it really just for OFW/CFW3.55 slims?

You have to wait till the come out with a way to extract your keys... You can do what I'm doing and trade yours out for another ps3

Honestly if they can't retract the keys on 3000 series it's a waist I would rather just get a e3 flasher and go for dual boot at least you will no it's future proof and when you want to play online play legit when you want cfw downgrade and get cfw

It's like saying what would you rather a rgh with a demon and do anything
Or a wasabi or xkey and only have backups your choice
atleast with the xbox you no it's future proof so far with the Ps3 until Sony release a update you don't

Because the superslim is butt-ugly? and today the CFW still has the same functionalities as the OFW (might change tomorrow ofcourse).. And Sony WILL be able to detect the ODE, mark my words... Also, the ODE costs almost as much as a new superslim 12GB version.. And let's not forget, installing the ODE is NOT for noobs, if you don't know what you're doing you can damage the PS3 a lot (next ofcourse to the fact you'll need at least 1 specialized tool).. Having to pay a lot of money without the assurance that sony won't detect it is something I wouldn't do.. And paying for a device you can do for free (on older versions) is something I certainly wouldn't do... But then again, I'm only for the homebrew so the ODE is useless for me (if the laser of my bluraydrive breaks again, I'll just replace it like I did last time)..
