Error during stage fsm
Hi there
during the stage FSM my ps3 slim started blinking green power. I have this log error Update VSH Package done(0x8002f002) update package elapsed time = 347233 msec Updating or Verifying failure 0x8002f002 UpMng.UpdatePackage() failure manufacturing updating FAILURE(0x8002f002) Total Elapsed time = 359918 msec I don't know what doesn't it mean how can i recover all? How did you enter FSM? With PS3 dongle or? Fast Power+Eject?
If you are already in FSM you can try go with lvl2self diag from file 1 and for example rogero 3.1 on USB stick and plug into right stick. |

when i power on the ps3 without pen drive

what are u trying anyway? dex2cex,downgrade etc?
it might help using the Rogero 3.7 instead, e.g some pups do what u posted = green blinking led after "trying" to install the pup via FSM and not goes OFF properly, try rogero 3.7 instead |

I'm using Ultimate Fool Proof Guide: Ps3 Hardware Downgrading
I'm downgrading a slim with 4.30 Fw. I dumped the Nor with teensy, the Nor is Valid, I take apart the teensy. Riassemble the ps3 and go on with the tutorial. Ok i will try again. Which step i must retry? where do i start again? I change the pen drive and i'll try to get in fsm.Is it right? maybe my pendrive isn't working well the files that i used are downloaded in github in the folder "get in fsm" Last edited by mazenico; 02-26-2013 at 08:01 AM. |

This console come from 3.55 kmeow updated 4.30 with a game disc.
Maybe that when it was modified the first time it wasn't about getting it right. i'm using the pup found un github in the folder get in fsm. where do i found the exact rogero 3.7? what files i must include in the pen drive? Put this Lv2diag.self
and this PUP renamed to PS3UPDAT.PUP on the root of a fat32 formatted USB drive.
